Pangea Events has had the privilege of supporting GEMS World Academy Dubai in delivering its Graduation Ceremonies in 2025 and 2026. Each ceremony brought together students, parents, faculty members, and distinguished guests to celebrate an important academic milestone. While the purpose of both events remained the same, each venue presented a unique set of creative and technical requirements. From AV production and live streaming to motion graphics, stage management, and visual content design, Pangea worked closely with the school team to deliver graduation experiences that reflected the significance of the occasion while ensuring a seamless experience for every attendee.
Graduation Ceremony 2025 | Al Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, Dubai
The 2025 Graduation Ceremony marked Pangea’s first collaboration with GEMS World Academy. The project focused on technical production and show management, with particular attention given to ensuring a professional and uninterrupted experience for students, parents, and faculty members. Pangea’s scope included AV production and technical planning, audio system design, speaker placement, stage presentation support, event videography, photography, multi-camera live streaming on YouTube, and show flow coordination. Prior to the event, the team conducted venue inspections, technical rehearsals, and cue testing sessions to ensure every element functioned as intended. Audio levels, presentation content, graduation walk sequences, speeches, performances, and live-streaming feeds were tested in advance to minimise risk on event day. The production team worked closely with the school to coordinate timing, stage transitions, graduate announcements, presentation content, and audiovisual cues, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the ceremony.
Graduation Ceremony 2026 | La Perle, Dubai
For the Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony, GEMS World Academy selected La Perle, one of Dubai’s most technologically advanced and visually distinctive performance venues. The venue’s architecture, projection systems, and stage environment created exciting creative opportunities while presenting unique technical considerations. Pangea was responsible for AV planning and technical coordination, performance area planning for the student band, photography and videography setup, motion graphics development, and LED content design across multiple display formats. A significant portion of the project focused on creating visual content for the venue’s LEDdisplays. The exterior LED walls required specially developed graphics that remained visible during both daylight and evening conditions. Careful consideration was given to colour selection, contrast, typography, and viewing distances to ensure strong visibility for arriving guests and passers-by. Inside the venue, multiple horizontal and vertical LED formats required bespoke content layouts and motion graphics. The design team developed screen-specific artwork to maintain visual clarity and consistency across the guest journey. To complement the venue’s architecture, the interior visual approach remained intentionally minimal. The GEMS World Academy emblem was integrated through carefully positioned projections and visual elements, creating a sophisticated environment without overwhelming the venue’s existing character.
